Had a fantastic time with my family in a spacious room with an amazing balcony view. The breakfast was exceptional, especially with the beautiful presentation. The onsen was the highlight, but the old building's age was noticeable.

Staying at Kumano-Bettei Nakanoshima was a wonderful experience, filled with

serenity and beautiful views. The private onsen was a highlight, especially soaking outside while watching the evening sky. However, reaching the hotel requires a short ferry ride, which might be a minor inconvenience for some. Overall, a perfect spot for relaxation.

This was the perfect spot for a refreshing getaway in Nachikatsuura. The onsen experience was extraordinary, especially soaking in the outdoor bath while enjoying the view. The tatami room was spacious, and the impressive dining options were beautifully presented and tasted delicious. Spending just a night here left me wishing for more time to explore surrounding attractions like the Katsuurahachiman Shrine and the Taiji-cho Whale Museum.

The spacious standard twin room had beautiful sea views that took my breath away. Public areas felt elegant and serene, perfect for relaxation. The onsen facilities were easily accessible, and I spent hours enjoying the different baths. I appreciated the variety of delicious food served, especially the beautifully presented kaiseki dinner in my room. However, the bathroom’s shower had weak water pressure, which was disappointing. Additionally, while the ferry service was convenient, the hotel’s older features were noticeable and could use some updates to match the beautiful landscape around it.

The location is wonderful, nestled on a small island easily accessed via a frequent shuttle boat from the dock. The staff were incredibly attentive, providing assistance with our bags and answering all our queries about ferry schedules and local attractions. The spacious family room offered stunning sea views, making our stay even more enjoyable.

While everything else was wonderful, the price may be a bit high for some guests.

Check-in was smooth and quick, staff were friendly and helpful. Dinner included was a feast with very fresh sashimi, tempura, and tender beef.

It was kinda pricey but still worth every yen.
